It is due to an, exchange of officers betwren the surveyor General's department and the Water and Drainage department.

on works which remained under the Durveyor General, whereas Mr Minhinette was in charge of the Pokfoolum Filter-beds, a __ work trasferred to the Water and Drainage department.
These officers have continued to discharge the duties which they had at the commencement of the year, M. Minhinette working under the discation of the Resident Engineer Water and Drainage department, but paid on the Surveyor Generale list.
W. Wildey worked under the Surveyor General but was paid
by the Water and Drainage department. It is now proposed with the consent of the Surveyor General to make the transfer permanent.
